You can make a difference by volunteering with us!

Volunteer Positions:

Board Members: The Board meets once a month.  Members must be willing to devote a few hours each month to attending meetings and carrying out board business.  You will further the work of the council and assist as needed with promotion, fundraising, event planning, recruitment, and other activities.

Tutors: This is a commitment of at least one year.  No experience necessary.  You will submit a criminal record check, take a free 20-hour training workshop, prepare lessons and meet with your learner at least once or twice per week.

Graphic Designer: Create engaging and professional promotional materials (such as pamphlets, poster, and web design) to advertise our services and enhance the visibility of our organization in the community, to recruit potential learners and volunteers to our program, and to increase public awareness of literacy issues. volunteer (1)
